Biotech Project Manager for International Team

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) driving innovation in the biopharma industry. We're seeking a seasoned Biotech Project Manager to join our team in Hillerød, Denmark.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you lead all aspects of project execution, including scope definition, stakeholder management, engineering, construction, budgeting, reporting, and safety. You'll be responsible for ensuring close coordination between project activities and site operations to achieve safe project execution with no incidents.
As a trusted and experienced professional, you'll interface extensively with site functions, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Site Services, Quality, and Administration. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Gaining a thorough understanding of product and process requirements
- Process Engineering Management: Overseeing and executing process engineering duties, supporting tech transfers and capital projects from initial design to detailed engineering stages
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation
- Effective Communication: Providing timely updates on project status to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and prioritization of deliverables
- Coordination and Monitoring: Tracking action items and milestones, maintaining control over budgets
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interacting with internal and external stakeholders, fostering alignment of expectations and garnering support throughout the project duration
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluating post-implementation to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes for future projects
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably within Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering disciplines
- A minimum of 5 years relevant project management experience in a cGMP biotech/pharmaceutical environment
- Good communication skills in both English and Danish at a business level
