Transportation Strategy Consultant

A leading transportation and logistics company seeks experienced professionals to drive strategic initiatives in-house. This role is open to candidates with a background in strategy and management consulting, who have a proven track record of planning and managing team delivery in a strategic consulting environment.

Job Scope:
  1. Develop and implement tailored solutions for complex business challenges.
  2. Analyze problems using structured and analytical methods.
  3. Conduct thorough analyses and preparation required to identify issues, form hypotheses, and develop conclusions into actionable recommendations.
  4. Provide sustainable and practical solutions to address business concerns.
  5. Effectively communicate insights and results to project members and internal client stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with internal clients to implement recommendations and drive business growth.
  7. Design and implement specific initiatives within the workstream of the project: conduct analysis, propose solutions, manage stakeholder alignment, develop implementation plan.
  8. Execute implementation plans, resolve issues, communicate and report progress.
  9. Lead team members to identify and manage dependencies across different initiatives, support other initiatives by providing knowledge and expertise in respective areas, serve as a point of knowledge/contact for the team for specific initiatives and related areas.
  10. Detailed scoping of the project and various initiatives, and defining the end-state results/deliverables of each initiative, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. 4-5 years' experience in management consulting in a top-tier firm, preferably a combination of strategy and implementation work, and experience in leading long-term transformation assignments from design to execution.
  2. Strong project management skills and experience, preferably from large and complex projects.
  3. Able to perform in high-pressure environments.
  4. Effective stakeholder management skills, change management experience preferred.
  5. Strong drive, initiative, and engagement – ability to work self-directed and well organized.
  6. Ability to work and thrive in a flexible matrix organization with focus on networking and collaboration.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including both structured and effective English written and verbal communication).
  8. Effective change agent with the ability to adjust change approach based on circumstances.
  9. Strategic mindset and an ability to create seamless and creative solutions to challenging goals.
  10. Ability to work across functions and disciplines and engage with client stakeholders.
