We are seeking up to three highly qualified Group Leaders to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR) at the University of Copenhagen. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for heading an independent research group and conducting research aligned with the center's strategy.
Job Description:- Research: Conduct high-quality research, including publication and academic dissemination, in collaboration with other research groups within CBMR and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
- Research-based teaching: Teach and examine students in research-based courses, including those related to cardiometabolic health and disease.
- Research leadership: Guide and supervise researchers, including postdoctoral fellows and PhD students, to achieve their research goals.
- Societal impact: Share knowledge with society through public debates, media appearances, and other outreach activities.
- PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as metabolomics, cardiovascular pathophysiology, or body weight regulation.
- Excellent research and teaching qualifications, with a strong track record of publications and academic achievements.
- Proven ability to lead research teams and manage projects, including securing funding and collaborating with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in research and teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
