We are seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs and Corporate Communications Manager to join our team in Denmark. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our corporate reputation and defining, executing, and implementing our public affairs and corporate communications strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze relevant media coverage, regulatory, policy, and political developments, and deliver insights to key internal stakeholders.
- Promote and represent Just Eat Takeaway's vision and values towards a broad range of stakeholders, including journalists, government officials, regulators, industry associations, and alliance partners.
- Design and draft public affairs and corporate communications strategies in close collaboration with our Danish business priorities and global goals.
- Draft position papers and press releases on core issues, ensuring alignment between business objectives and corporate communications and public affairs strategies.
- Facilitate high-level meetings between our executives and key stakeholders to promote and advocate our commitment to public policies.
- Represent Just Eat Takeaway externally in publications, events, and policymaker settings.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Communications, Political Science, or Law, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience working in public affairs and/or corporate communications within an in-house corporate policy or communication function, consultancy firm, interest group/trade association, or government.
- Experience working independently on public affairs and/or corporate communication tasks and knowledge of the Danish political and institutional sphere and media landscape.
- A self-starter and team player with a hands-on and can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high attention to detail and drive projects to successful completion.
- Strong language skills and the ability to write and translate complex issues into a language suitable for technical or non-technical audiences and communicate impactfully in person and writing.
- Full proficiency in Danish and English.
