Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class organization in the aerospace industry. As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Terma A/S, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our aerospace products.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Mentor a Team
  • Develop and support a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Develop the team's skills and ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Manage Non-Conformances
  • Ensure professional handling of non-conformances and drive structured problem-solving using the 8D methodology and in-depth root cause analysis tools.
  • Maintain high standards for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Develop Quality Assurance Processes
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, continuously improving the quality management system.
Oversee Product Quality Management
  • Oversee aerostructure product quality, including the preparation of quality plans, conducting quality data analysis (e.g., SPC), and performing First Article Inspection.
  • Participate in program meetings and serve as the customer's point of contact for all quality-related matters.
Audit and Surveillance
  • Conduct internal and external audits and facilitate surveillances in production to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support and deploy strategic and continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodology.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Requirements

You will possess strong decision-making and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks. You should have a solution-oriented mindset, coupled with curiosity and self-confidence, and a willingness to take a stand.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and compliance are essential. Extensive data analysis skills and fluency in both written and spoken English are also required.

Your Profile

You should have an educational background in engineering or another technical degree, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance. Experience with quality management related to aerospace manufacturing, such as AS9100, and technical knowledge of composite part manufacturing and/or metal machining are highly desirable.

Qualifications in quality management and continuous improvement, including Lean Six Sigma, will be considered advantageous.
