Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative medical imaging systems.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for medical imaging products, adhering to industry standards and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into functional prototypes and final products.Utilize 3D CAD software to create detailed models and engineering drawings.Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical solutions to mechanical design challenges.Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation processes to ensure product performance and reliability.Develop prototypes and test systems to validate the functionality of mechanical designs.Support the transition of designs to manufacturing and provide ongoing engineering support during the production phase.Stay updated on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering, medical imaging, and camera technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the medical device or imaging industry.Strong experience with camera systems and imaging technologies, including optical components, sensors, and camera integration.Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and CNC machining.Familiarity with medical device regulations, including ISO 13485, and understanding of product development life cycles in regulated industries.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
