About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Demant Polska. As a senior mechanical engineer, you will play a key role in developing hearing instruments with a focus on hardware.

Your responsibilities will include micro-mechanical development, design in CAD, prototyping, and simulation. You will work closely with our team of engineers to design and develop innovative solutions for our products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of knowledge within our department. This may involve defining and adjusting internal processes, maintaining competence maps, and defining direction for competence development.

You will also be responsible for guiding mechanical developers and supporting the planning of daily activities. This may include planning and implementing design work, specifications, design reviews, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Experience in mechanical development and design, particularly in medical- or small consumer electronic devices
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, materials science, and thermodynamics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with PTC Creo 3D CAD software
  • Simulation experience, particularly with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
