Overview

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, an industry-leading Biologics Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), seeks a dedicated API Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team in Hillerød, Denmark. This role is an excellent opportunity to drive project execution, manage teams, and contribute to the growth of our company.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in the Pharma- or Biotech industry to lead all aspects of project execution, including scope definition, internal customer communication, external vendor management, engineering management, team management, construction management, budgeting, reporting, scheduling/sequencing, and safety.

The successful candidate will work in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, collaborating closely with site functions, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Site services, Quality, and Administration.

This position involves extensive stakeholder engagement, including peer Engineering functions, and requires strong communication skills in both English and Danish at a business level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of product and process requirements
  • Process Engineering Management: Overseeing and executing process engineering duties, supporting tech transfers and capital projects from initial design to detailed engineering stages
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation
  • Effective Communication: Delivering timely updates on project status to stakeholders
  • Coordination and Monitoring: Coordinating project activities, tracking action items, and maintaining control over budgets
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Fostering alignment of expectations and garnering support throughout the project duration
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluating post-implementation to identify areas for improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably within Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant project management experience in a cGMP biotech/pharmaceutical environment
  • Good communication skills in both English and Danish at a business level
