Siemens Gamesa, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.

Job Description

The Renewable Energy Safety Specialist will be responsible for defining and coordinating the implementation of functional EHS measures within assigned organizations (local units). This involves monitoring and reporting on the implementation of HSE Plans, HSE Management Systems, and HSE performances. You will work closely with the Service SP&S EQS Manager to develop HSE best practices for all Service Warehouses and Repair Shops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visible leadership, coaching, and mentoring to workers' teams.
  • Be a role model for HSE by providing competent HSE advice and promoting a responsible attitude towards HSE.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements from customer contracts, local legislation, and SGRE.
  • Manage site HSE plans, Safe Systems of Work, and other required HSE documentation.
  • Develop detailed HSE processes and procedures to fulfill HSE requirements.
  • Monitor targeted KPIs for sites and create action plans as needed.
  • Support Warehouse or Repair Shop Managers in defining corrective actions for HSE issues.
  • Share and guide HSE personnel on best practices.
  • Investigate incidents, implement actions, and collaborate in site HSE troubleshooting.
  • Foster a proactive approach to HSE with all relevant people.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with at least 3-5 years of experience in an HSE advisor/manager role. You must have a solid knowledge of international, local/national HSE regulations, and HSE compliance obligations. A strong understanding of the MS Office package and SGRE HSE requirements is essential.
