About the Role:
The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Country Manager and work closely with the European Marketing team, BYD dealer network, and regional teams to develop robust quarterly marketing plans. This role will be responsible for ensuring dealer websites, signage, and marketing materials are up-to-date and compliant with BYD CI policy. Additionally, this role will oversee the steering of the marketing budget, including allocating funds to Retailers for marketing activities.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Country Marketing Plan in line with business objectives and Global Marketing Strategic Guidelines.
  • Plan and lead execution of National Events, conducting post-event analysis to understand effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Design and manage regional advertising/digital campaigns across local markets, in collaboration with appointed agencies.
  • Provide digital assets for local market use, ensuring their effective deployment during national campaigns.
  • Supervise Dealer Marketing Plans and monitor their execution from Dealer Partners.
  • Contribute valuable insights for the construction of the European Marketing Plan and monitor competitor activities (Product & financial benchmarks, monthly installments, new campaigns).
  • Manage local advertising and PR campaigns in conjunction with appointed agencies, supported by the PR Manager.
  • Take responsibility for steering the marketing budget.
  • Coordinate relations with press, media, agencies, digital influencers, in relation with the operational support of the PR Manager, and ensure brand visibility and product stories.
  • Conduct post-event analysis to understand effectiveness and feed this information into the marketing plan process.
  • Collaborate with and support the European PR and Events team when planning activities in Local markets, in relation with the PR Manager.
  • Foster, grow, and nurture relations with digital media and social influencers.
  • Be a brand ambassador, always working with the customer in mind.
  • Actively engage and collaborate on any European event or activity as needed.
