Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Games Concept Designer to join our team at The LEGO Group.

About the Role

This is a permanent position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

As a Games Concept Designer, you will be responsible for facilitating ideation and early-stage design processes. This includes innovating and designing gameplay mechanics and flow, imagining, designing, and iterating prototypes with the team, communicating and presenting ideas to internal and external partners, building and maintaining Game Design Documents, leveraging player needs, audience profiles, and other insights to define the right product value propositions, and examining player ecosystems for trends and behavior.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital product development thinking from ideation to concept to final, passion to create and work with creative team members to build amazing games, thrive upon change, be comfortable prototyping and working with iterative development processes, excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English, a strong interest in the game development process, from start to launch, passion for playing a variety of games, and a systematic approach to design, with the ability to prioritize according to relevant needs.

Preferred Skills

Ideal candidates should have a diverse range of interests and passions to draw inspiration from. Experience with game creation engines such as UEFN, Unreal, or Unity 3D is preferred.
