Job Title: Games Concept Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Games Concept Designer to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our LEGO Games team, you will be responsible for creating immersive gaming experiences that captivate and inspire our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Development: Facilitate ideation and early-stage design processes, innovating and designing gameplay mechanics and flow.
  • Prototyping and Iteration: Imagine, design, and iterate prototypes with the team, leveraging player needs, audience profiles, and other insights to define the right product value propositions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and present ideas to internal and external partners, building and maintaining Game Design Documents.
  • Design Expertise: Leverage systematic approaches to design, prioritizing according to relevant needs, and examining player ecosystems for trends and behavior.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Digital product development thinking from ideation to concept to final.
  • Passion: Creating and working with creative team members to build amazing games.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Game Development: Strong interest in the game development process, from start to launch.
  • Game Engines: Experience with game creation engines such as UEFN, Unreal, or Unity 3D is preferred.

Location: This is a permanent position based in Billund, Denmark, with flexible working arrangements and relocation support not offered for this role.
