Cybersecurity and GDPR Manager at Veo will play a crucial role in shaping our cybersecurity strategy, protecting our digital assets, and safeguarding customer data.

This key position involves developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy, encompassing risk management, incident response, compliance, and security architecture.

The role also encompasses GDPR compliance and demands strong leadership skills and a strategic vision to ensure the integrity of our data and systems across all relevant areas, such as hardware and software development, marketing, sales, IT, finance, and operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an information security strategy aligned with Veo's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to protect digital assets, sensitive information, and customer access to the Veo platform.
  • Manage security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of Veo's operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as NIST, GDPR legislation, and penetration testing.
  • Provide strategic guidance, promoting a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters, including communication with senior leadership, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in information security, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
  • Professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective conveyance of complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, focusing on innovation and continuous improvement.
