About the Role

Vestas is seeking a skilled Kaizen Engineer to join our team in Munkebo, Denmark. As a Kaizen Engineer, you will play a key role in driving lean transformation and operational excellence in our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Implement OPEX assessments and lead Local Kaizen Board activities
  • Train stakeholders in lean tools and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct 5S audits and trainings, and update Crane Plans for safety
  • Align job sequences for optimal flow in the assembly area
  • Update Warehouse Delivery Plans for just-in-time delivery
  • Analyze data for production to ensure continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience in production/process/tools engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with Kaizen activities, 5S, and other lean tools
  • Practical experience in implementing and managing change in a production environment
  • Experience with Production Support software

Competencies

  • Advanced communication skills with fluent English proficiency and basic Danish oral skills
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data and present it in a simple way
  • Capable of making timely, informed decisions considering facts, goals, constraints, and risks
  • Skilled at promoting collaboration, inspiring innovation, and engaging people effectively
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Maintains focus on achieving goals and delivering results
