We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Process Automation team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering Automation Engineering Services in Pharmaceutical API production.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech or life science industry. They will also have experience in people management and/or team management, as well as experience with engineering projects in the industrial and/or life-science sectors.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can guide their team to achieve ambitious targets. They will be adaptable and innovative, thriving in a dynamic environment and eager to improve the status quo. They will also be agile and skilled at managing urgent tasks, with excellent communication skills for effective teamwork across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 15-25 automation engineers specializing in Process Control Systems like 800xA, SattLine, and DeltaV.
- Coordinate resources, prioritize tasks, and implement process improvements to meet ambitious goals.
- Drive competence development aligned with our 'Fit for the Future' strategy.
- Engage in stakeholder communication and collaboration to meet customer needs effectively.
- Provide visionary leadership to the department, hiring and retention of automation engineers, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to enhance team performance and project success.
- Efficiently allocate resources for automation projects and initiatives, ensuring cross-departmental coordination.
- Actively participate in projects to stay abreast of technical advancements and maintain alignment with NNE's operational standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech or life science industry.
- Experience in people management and/or team management.
- Experience with engineering projects in the industrial and/or life-science sectors.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
