The Job Description
As a Data Engineer at BESTSELLER, you will play a key role in shaping our data strategy and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building modern data products using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Developing and implementing data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and cloud computing to optimize and standardize our data engineering processes in accordance with best practices.
Your Skills and Qualifications
We expect that you have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with relevant experience in data engineering and architecture. You should have expertise in Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks, as well as expertise in SQL Server - including the ability to write stored procedures, views, and functions, with hands-on experience in data pipelines and CI/CD principles.
Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Docker, along with knowledge of Airflow or similar workflow management tools is a plus. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
