NKT is a world-leading company in high-quality power cable technology, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Finance Controller to join our R&D/Technology/Global functions team. As a key member of our finance team, you'll oversee financial operations at our Karlskrona and Cologne sites, ensuring robust, efficient, and aligned financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with project managers to develop business cases for groundbreaking projects, conduct monthly follow-ups, and manage CAPEX, including capitalization processes, asset depreciation, and necessary postings and corrections.
  • Oversee project management within SAP, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless internal order creation and project settlement.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to validate accrual journals, streamline intercompany transactions, and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to finalize project settlements, ensuring time-writing and internal balances are aligned with project outcomes.
  • Deliver strategic analysis on gross margins, CAPEX, and OPEX, providing actionable insights that influence decision-making at all levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance or business controlling, preferably in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • A collaborative, business-minded approach, with excellent analytical and communication skills in English.
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results.
