About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Lead to join our team at Edenred Italia S.r.l. This is a unique opportunity to work with a global company that values innovation and digital transformation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all IT systems and data. This includes developing security policies, managing risk, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and serving as the primary point of contact for all security-related initiatives and incidents.

As an IT Security Lead, you will work closely with other departments to protect our digital assets and ensure the security posture of internal IT systems. You will also serve as a liaison between internal IT and Engineering departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce Edenred security policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage risks effectively.
  • Ensure that all security policies and procedures are documented and kept up to date.
  • Ensure that internal IT systems and tools are configured and used according to internal security procedures.
  • Ensure that security controls are effective and regularly tested.
  • Work with internal and external IT teams to design secure network architectures and system configurations.
  • Work closely with the engineering and product departments to ensure the integration of security practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA, NIS-2, ISO 27001).
  • Collaborate with senior management to communicate security risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to our IT infrastructure and data.
  • Oversee the incident response process, ensuring timely identification, containment, and resolution of security incidents.
  • Maintain detailed records of security incidents, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
  • Develop and implement security awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies, to ensure comprehensive security management.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in a role of IT Security, IT Risk, or IT Audit.
  • 2 years' experience in a leadership position.
  • Extensive knowledge of security and risk frameworks as well as software development best practices.
  • Professional security management certification is a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) or proven experience with international security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO/IEC 27001).
  • Proven experience in banking, payment, or insurance (with relevant certifications such as PCI DSS, PSD2, ISO 27001) is a strong plus.
  • Experience in integrating security into product development lifecycle (Agile) is a strong plus.
  • International experience or working in an international environment is a strong plus.
