Advanced SAP Security Expert for Global Implementation

Overview of the Role

This position is part of a team responsible for providing secure access to SAP systems and creating/modifying SAP roles on both S4 Hana and SAP ECC. As an SAP Security Expert, you will be part of a large business process transformation program involving an S4 implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review, analyze, and approve access to SAP systems in compliance with Essity's security standards and user access/SoD controls.
  2. Challenge users to ensure access aligns with job roles and responsibilities, reducing SoD conflicts.
  3. Facilitate timely execution of user access and SOD reviews by reviewers.
  4. Analyze SU53/Trace system error logs, identifying user access and authentication issues, working with SAP security-related tables, SUIM etc.
  5. Design, build, and test SAP roles.
  6. Collaborate with internal SAP tech services, GAET Team, and other stakeholders to ensure proper controls are in place for SAP roles and authorizations.
  7. Work on SAP GRC Access Control, including user provisioning analysis/approvals, segregation of duty management, emergency access, and role management.
  8. Incident management and troubleshooting, direct interactions with business stakeholders and end users.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in SAP (ECC and S/HANA) security/authorization roles and profiles.
  2. SAP security and authorization technical skills and understanding.
  3. Knowledge about SOD risks and mitigating controls.
  4. Experience in SAP GRC support (Access Control Modules), with configuration and maintenance experience being a plus.
  5. Supporting user access across multiple SAP modules and systems (S/4, EWM, ECC, BW, SRM, Ariba, Portal, PO, Gateway).
  6. Awareness of basic information security principles.
  7. Good working knowledge of authorization reporting and troubleshooting transaction codes/tools, solving security incidents tickets.
  8. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  9. Fluency in English.
