Job Description

This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. As a Data Scientist Innovator, you will collaborate with senior team members, business leaders, and subject matter experts to develop cutting-edge data science and machine learning solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Validating and conducting technical feasibility assessments of high-impact data science use cases
  • Developing and productizing data-driven components to drive business value across Vestas' value chain
  • Assisting in the development of methods, solution architectures, and best practices that can scale data solutions across the organization
  • Contributing to the maturation of our data platforms and the enhancement of the data science tool stack
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of experience developing and/or deploying statistical or machine learning models, ideally with tangible applications in a corporate context
  • MSc in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or relevant
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Hands-on experience with complex data manipulation, model building, and statistical analysis
  • Expertise in forecasting methods and data visualization to inform business decisions
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with both business and technology teams
