High-Temperature PEM Fuel Cell System Modelling Position

DTU's Department of Energy Conversion and Storage invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in the field of high-temperature proton exchange membrane (HT-PEM) fuel cell systems. The successful candidate will work on developing and demonstrating a modular, containerized fuel cell system capable of dual-fuel operation with either hydrogen or methanol.

The project aims to advance the performance, flexibility, and durability of HT-PEM fuel cells under harsh operating conditions. The researcher will be responsible for developing detailed 3D multiphysics models of the HT-PEMFC stack to analyze and optimize thermal management, studying degradation mechanisms using experimental data and advanced modeling techniques, and investigating thermal dynamics and overall performance under variable load and transient conditions.
