DTU Health Tech is seeking a deep learning expert to join our team in the Section for Ultrasound and Biomechanics. As part of our cutting-edge research project, you will focus on developing innovative WSS estimation methods using advanced ultrasound imaging and machine learning techniques.

This project aims to transform stroke prevention by integrating state-of-the-art machine learning techniques with advanced ultrasound imaging. You will contribute to the development of novel WSS estimation methods, enabling accurate measurements. The project will address key research challenges, including robust vessel wall segmentation and flow estimation using physics-informed neural networks.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in applied mathematics, computer science, biomedical engineering, or related fields. Proficiency in image processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques is essential. Experience in high-frame-rate ultrasound imaging and deep learning algorithms is highly desirable.

You will work closely with our team of experts in medical imaging and machine learning, collaborating with clinical partners at hospitals for data collection and clinical validation. Your primary tasks will be to conduct research, develop and implement machine learning models, test and refine techniques, publish research findings, and teach and supervise student projects.
