At Ungdommens Røde Kors Aalborg, we strive to provide a supportive environment for vulnerable adults in our community. Many of our participants have experienced trauma and stress, leading to issues such as insomnia, anxiety, and fatigue. Our mindfulness program aims to create a safe space for women to practice self-care and relaxation techniques.

We are seeking a volunteer instructor to lead our weekly mindfulness class, "Calm Your Body." As an instructor, you will guide women through gentle movement and meditation exercises, promoting physical and emotional well-being. Your role will involve creating a calm and open atmosphere, being patient and attentive in communication, and having experience in yoga and/or mindfulness instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a supportive and non-judgmental environment for participants
  • Design and deliver engaging mindfulness sessions tailored to the needs of refugee women
  • Communicate effectively with participants, ensuring their comfort and understanding
  • Establish a stable presence, committing to regular attendance
