About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive Search Researcher to join our team at Heidrick & Struggles. As an Executive Search Researcher, you will play a critical role in supporting our Search Partners and Principals in the research phase of the executive recruiting lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry research to gain a comprehensive understanding of client companies, their industries, and position requirements.
  • Identify prospective candidates through targeted company research, relevant prior searches, and using Heidrick's proprietary systems and methodologies.
  • Contribute to multiple engagements, candidate pipelines, and the needs of multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain progress reports/status reports/market feedback reports for presentation to Consultants and Clients.
  • Assist Consultants in writing candidate assessments to present to clients.
  • Support business development activities and pitch preparation as directed.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of recruiting experience or transferable professional experience.
  • An undergraduate BA/BS degree is required.
  • Developing and honing skills in professional communications, including writing, speaking, and presenting information in a clear and coherent manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting in Executive Search, Contingent Search, or In-House Talent Acquisition or other industry requiring applied sales and research skills.
  • Proven success simultaneously managing multiple projects and working across teams.
  • Experience identifying market trends and researching information effectively through various channels.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and synthesize large volumes of information into insights.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM.
  • Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and completing high-quality deliverables on time.
