Senior Clinical Monitor Opportunity at Syneos Health, Inc.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Monitoring Associate to join our team at Syneos Health, Inc. As a Senior Clinical Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials by conducting site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Monitoring Associate, you will work closely with our clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your responsibilities will include verifying informed consent processes, assessing site performance, and maintaining a working knowledge of relevant regulations and company SOPs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Verify informed consent processes and assess site performance.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant regulations and company SOPs.
  • Document activities via confirmation letters, follow-up letters, trip reports, and communication logs.
  • Enter data into tracking systems to track observations and ongoing status.
  • Act as primary liaison with study site personnel and ensure sites are trained and compliant with applicable requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of GCP/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage required travel of up to 75% on a regular basis.
