Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on analyzing several whole genome datasets related to Greenlandic land mammals. This involves developing and applying computational methods to identify genetic variants associated with different traits and diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze genetic data using computational methods
  • Collaborate with the research group to advance the project's objectives
  • Communicate research findings effectively through various channels

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field, such as population genetics/genomics or bioinformatics
  • Programming expertise and experience with Linux/Unix and command lines
  • Familiarity with genetic data, particularly high-throughput whole genome DNA sequencing data
  • Publishing history in reputable scientific journals
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
