Biomedical Innovation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Innovation Specialist to contribute to the development of novel biomedicines through cutting-edge computational protein design.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in protein structure analysis, data-driven decision-making, and software development. They will be responsible for creating and optimizing protein design campaigns targeting integral membrane proteins, analyzing rich experimental data to enhance current design techniques, and collaborating with the project team on software infrastructure development for experimental workflows.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of computational biology and high-throughput genomics. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong focus, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

Requirements:

  • A PhD in physics, biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting frameworks, preferably Python, and ability to develop within a shared codebase.
  • Expertise in protein structure analysis, with the capacity to evaluate designed protein structures and provide actionable insights to improve design pipelines.

Compensation Package: Up to 180,000 DKK per annum (approximately $26,000 USD), commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Work Environment: Full-time position based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
