Senior Investment Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Professional to join our team at IFU. As a key member of our infrastructure finance team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and appraising project proposals to ensure that they align with our investment strategy and overall strategies and policies for Danish development policy and partner country priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Identification and Development: Identify and develop project proposals that meet our investment criteria, including financial and socio-economic analysis, assessment of development, climate, and environmental impact, and social and governance issues.
- Project Management: Drive projects through the relevant decision process stages, including due diligence, design & tender, and financial close, including legal, ESG, and other aspects with support from in-house and external experts.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and follow-up on project development and implementation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain close dialogue and collaboration with a variety of national and international public sector organizations, other development finance institutions, and technical consultants.
- Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate updating of information systems, including project documents, financial and sustainability reporting.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in infrastructure finance, project management, and stakeholder engagement. You should have a proven track record of delivering complex projects in developing countries, with a strong understanding of development finance trends and possibilities.
