Job Summary

The Head of Financial Controlling will oversee the Financial Controlling team, ensuring effective financial control processes, accurate reporting, and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires managing Senior and Junior Financial Controllers to achieve optimal performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial control processes and accuracy
  • Lead and motivate the Financial Controlling team to achieve organizational objectives
  • Manage Senior and Junior Financial Controllers to ensure they work collaboratively and have opportunities for professional growth
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial closing processes
  • Review financial statements and provide guidance to the team on financial reporting and compliance
  • Lead projects to implement new compliance measures and integrate them into existing processes
  • Advise the team and other stakeholders on complex IFRS reporting questions
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial manuals to ensure they are current and meet industry standards
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in financial controlling roles with a strong background in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field
  • Expertise in IFRS, particularly IFRS 16, is highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant financial software
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a diverse team
  • Strategic mindset, results-driven, and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
