Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark DTU - Technical University of Denmark Full time

About the Project

This PhD scholarship is part of a larger project on Inverse Design of Optoelectronic Phosphosulfides (IDOL) funded by the European Research Council. The goal is to find the best material for a desired application from an enormous space of possible materials, including undiscovered ones.

We will approach this challenge through a smaller-scale case study focusing on phosphosulfides and solar cells. Our team's task is to identify among all possible phosphosulfides which one will convert light most efficiently into electricity.

You will tackle this problem computationally. You will have access to CPU- and GPU-based supercomputing resources, a global collaborative network of experts, and local experimentalists who will synthesize your newly designed materials.
