Location: West Coast of Jutland, Denmark

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Maintenance Specialist to join our team at RWE AG. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational availability of offshore windfarm foundations, steel structures, and subsea cables. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising scheduled maintenance, servicing, and repair works, as well as managing associated risks, documentation, budget, spare parts inventory, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and coordination of scheduled maintenance and repair works for offshore foundations, steel structures, and subsea cables.
  • Management of associated risks, documentation, budget, spare parts inventory, and procurement.
  • Collaboration with central expert teams to develop repair strategies and coordinate campaigns.
  • Application of computerized maintenance management systems (SAP PM/MM) in close collaboration with site management teams.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of maintenance and repair strategies, as well as identifying and realizing synergies across the offshore fleet.

About Thor Offshore Windfarm:

RWE AG is developing the largest offshore windfarm in Denmark to date, Thor, which will be built 22 kilometers off the coast of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland with a capacity of more than 1 GW. Once fully operational in 2027, Thor will produce green electricity to more than 1 million Danish households.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical discipline, such as mechanical or civil engineering.
  • Several years of work experience in the field of service and maintenance of offshore foundations, steel structures, subsea cables, and subsea conditions.
  • Knowledge and experience with Eurocode 3.
  • Strong awareness for occupational safety.
  • Commercial understanding and experience in contract negotiations.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems, SAP PM/MM, and MS-Office.
  • Ability and fitness to work offshore as well as at height.
  • Very good communication skills and assertiveness, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a structured way of working.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Danish.
