Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team in Hedehusene, Denmark. The first project assignment is planned to be in Washington State.

This role requires extensive travel during the design phase and a two-year relocation during the execution phase, expected to begin soon.

About the Role
  • Lead and execute design and construction management activities.
  • Responsible for all construction project scope related quality, budget, time schedule, certification, approvals, and health & safety checks.
  • Lead civil design consultants and manage all design-related activities including permits in coordination with factory and process teams.
  • Responsible for efficient cooperation in the core teams.
  • Prepare design specifications and tender documents.
  • Manage main and sub-contractors' claims.
  • Prepare and follow-up civil time schedule in accordance with overall project time schedule.
  • Implement health & safety set-up and daily application through Site Safety Supervisor.
  • Ensure that Site Safety Supervisor has the required mandate to take necessary actions to ensure safety.
  • Coordinate with Factory organization design and site activities.
  • Responsible for efficient budget follow-up in relation to design and construction activities.
  • Clear communication to core team and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or mechanical engineering and project management.
  • 8+ years of work experience in project management.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience in handling large-scale projects (5+ years' experience).
  • Working experience with multinational teams and contractors.
  • Industrial project experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 philosophy and project execution.
  • High professional business level in English is a must; additional knowledge in Danish is preferred.
  • Experience in negotiation and excellent communication skills.
  • A Driver's license.
