About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Specialist to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our Fill & Finish Expansions department, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across our production sites.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive Lean strategy for our newly established production site, focusing on building a strong lean culture and capabilities. You will work closely with our Digitalization team to design and deploy visual management systems, performance monitoring systems, and other tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of training programs, including the PSQIT cLEAN Academy, to educate and mentor our team members on lean principles and practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and change management, with a proven track record of driving business transformations through lean initiatives. You will also need to be an effective communicator and leader, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Lean strategy for our production site, focusing on building a strong lean culture and capabilities.
  • Design and deploy visual management systems, performance monitoring systems, and other tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the design and development of training programs, including the PSQIT cLEAN Academy, to educate and mentor our team members on lean principles and practices.
  • Collaborate with our Digitalization team to design and implement standardized performance boards and planning systems across our production sites.
  • Develop and implement Leader Standard Work for all Operations leaders at our production site.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in project execution, stakeholder management, program management, and operational planning.
  • Subject matter expertise in lean leadership, with demonstrated abilities for effective leadership of staff, program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience driving business transformations through lean continuous process improvement initiatives and other projects. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly advantageous.
  • Full proficiency in oral and written English.
