Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Consultant/Application Specialist to join our talented team and contribute to our ongoing success. The ideal candidate will be living in Denmark or Norway with regular travel within these countries.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Software Consultant/Application Specialist at Kardex, you will be involved in the sales stage of our warehouse software solutions up to completed implementation, testing, and training. You will work closely with customers and support your sales colleagues in their work. Throughout the project, you will be the customer's main contact person regarding software installations and network questions.

Our projects vary in size and length, typically taking between 2-3 months. You will run several parallel projects and manage stakeholders both externally and internally. You will have the freedom to independently plan and deliver your work in accordance with business needs.

As Kardex has customers and systems spread throughout the Nordic countries, the role will require frequent travel and may include several overnight stays per week.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven project management skills with warehouse software implementations
  • Software pre-sales experience
  • Experience of creating functional descriptions of logistics solutions
  • Project experience of storage and material handling systems
  • High competence in WMS systems, Logistic, and lean knowledge
  • Knowledge about IT hardware (PC, server, network), operating systems, and SQL
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A valid driving license
  • Fluent in Danish or Norwegian (both written and spoken) and a professional level of English (both written and spoken)
