To strengthen our team, we are seeking an experienced Data Expert who possesses exceptional skills in data analysis, software development, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, ensuring that architectural decisions align with business goals and technological advancements support the company's objectives.

Your primary responsibilities will involve consolidating and harmonizing payment data, sourcing, storing, and distributing it to other solutions within the organization. This will also entail integrations supporting different end-to-end payment flows in Nordea's target payment architecture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to solution architecture, design, and maintainability of applications
  • Designing, building, and maintaining near real-time data pipelines
  • Interacting with product owners and stakeholders to clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
  • Data mapping, data modeling, solution design, and working with Information Architects
  • Performing quantitative data analysis to understand identified issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborating with developers and engineers to document designs and solutions
  • Eliciting requirements (functional and non-functional) by cooperating with diverse stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Responsibility for requirements documentation (including use cases) and quality improvement
  • Accessing complex and distributed datasets and performing statistical analysis

This role is based in Copenhagen/Taastrup, Denmark. We believe that the successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

The ideal candidate should have expertise in data modeling principles, data architectures, integration patterns, requirement elicitation/analysis, SQL (Oracle, MSSQL or similar RDBMS), and experience in one or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google). Additionally, they should have knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain (ISO20022 standard, SEPA, and Swift messages) and hands-on experience with practices like Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing Architecture Patterns, Microservices Architecture, Clean Code, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, JUnit, and experience in building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications.
