Global Process Optimization Specialist for Contract Manufacturing

We are seeking a Senior CMO Specialist to join our Global Process Management team. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and profitable manufacturing processes with our CMO partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive projects that build best practices, increase efficiency, and bring products and innovation to market promptly and correctly.
  • Coordinate projects in close collaboration with Commercial Development, Product Management, Quality Control, Master Data, and QA teams.
  • Implement new products at CMOs and ensure technical process implementation of new equipment/optimizations.
  • Identify and implement optimization opportunities for CMOs, ensuring compliance to regulation and quality standards.
  • Support/drive investigations for deviation-related process nonconformance and complaints for product performance at CMOs.
  • Sustain focus on efficiency with special attention on scrap, resources, lead times, capacity, and productivity.
Requirements
  • A degree in Food Science/Microbiology/Engineering/MSc./Cand.Pharma or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with CMO activities.
  • Ability to work in an international matrix function – excellent communication skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Data flair and skills for Excel data processing as well as other tools to be used where needed, e.g., multivariate data analysis, statistical tools like R, Python.
  • Understanding of production and applications.
  • Knowledge about relevant International Standards, e.g., ISO, IDF.
