Vestas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Aarhus, DK or Hamburg, DE. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional category teams, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project procurement plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth and improve procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and commodity managers to develop cost-out targets and implement procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas' procurement policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on procurement performance and progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or project procurement, with a degree in business administration, supply chain management, or project management.
  • Proven track record of success in procurement, with experience in commodity management, project execution, and sourcing strategy development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
