Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Enablement (CE) team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding cloud engineering capability for our products and platforms.

Working in LEGO infrastructure is a unique and exciting experience, offering the opportunity to work with brand-new front-end technology in a diverse and upbeat engineering team. We are passionate about delivering on our vision of an up-to-date multi-Cloud and factory Edge infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will support the delivery of digital products across The LEGO Group, focusing on design, development, and maintenance of cloud landing zones, core accounts, infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code in both Azure and AWS. You will work closely with other cloud engineers in the CE team and have accountabilities relating to completing the overall roadmap supporting LEGO Digital Transformation and cloud journey.

You will interact extensively with other product teams, design, develop, and maintain API integration layers, expand security and compliance in the cloud, and be part of the DevOps Operating model, seeking quality and implementing full-scale development and peer programming.

You will also react to support requests or incidents during business hours, collaborating with the team to build proactive measures and automation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have hands-on experience with building cloud-native applications and a solid grasp of Cloud infrastructure, IaaS, and PaaS. You will also have experience with defining Cloud infrastructures through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.) and modern DevOps and Agile practices.

Demonstrable experience in infrastructure and operations in Azure (and preferably also AWS), experience designing and maintaining Landing Zones, and with ServiceBus, Azure Functions, and development in Python are required. Awareness of event-driven architecture and serverless architecture (SAM) is also necessary.

You will have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering and be able to communicate well, exercising initiative when presented with problems. Advanced English, both written and verbally, is required since we are an international team.
