Market Leadership Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to join our team as a Market Leadership Strategist at Klar, a Scandinavian organization with offices in Denmark and Estonia.
About the RoleAs a Market Leadership Strategist, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth and market dominance in Scandinavia. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to boost customer engagement and market share across all our markets.
Your primary goal will be to lead our small but growing marketing team, fostering their development and maximizing team potential. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of all market-facing communications, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels.
Responsibilities- Develop and personally execute comprehensive marketing strategies to boost Klar's customer engagement and market share across all our markets, aiming for market leadership in Scandinavia.
- Lead and expand our small but growing marketing team, fostering their development and maximizing team potential.
- Directly contribute to the development and implementation of all market-facing communications, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality creative assets, including graphics, videos, and other marketing collateral, leveraging both in-house and external resources.
- Manage and optimize Klar's email marketing campaigns and customer communication flows.
- Work closely with Paid Performance, Organic Performance, and Tech departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing initiatives.
- Analyze competitor activities and consumer needs to inform marketing strategies and communication plans.
- Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, print, and events.
- Oversee market research initiatives to gain insights into customer preferences and market opportunities.
- Develop and execute go-to-market activities for Klar's new consumer upsell products.
- Develop and implement strategies to support Klar's expansion into professional services.
- Set KPIs and report on marketing performance and communication effectiveness metrics to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and communication plans that have led to a company achieving market leadership in related D2C segments, particularly in Scandinavia.
- Experience in launching and executing go-to-market strategies for new consumer services.
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels, as well as effective market communication tactics.
- Hands-on experience in executing various marketing activities, from content creation to campaign communication.
- Expertise in managing email marketing campaigns and customer communication flows.
- Experience in leading the visual communication of high-quality creative assets, either in-house or with external resources.
- Experience in managing and growing small but high-performing marketing teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure communication effectiveness.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, Email marketing, CRM systems, and communication platforms.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in developing marketing strategies and communication plans for multiple markets, particularly in Europe.
- Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian).
- Experience in the home improvement, construction, or related B2C industries is a plus.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
