Director of R&D Financial Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our R&D Financial Planning team at Genmab. As a key member of our Global Finance Team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to our R&D business, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Finance Business Partners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and high performance.
- Partner with R&D leaders to provide financial guidance and support for the product portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models and analytical tools to enhance decision-making processes and project valuations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and adherence to internal SOX controls within the R&D FP&A function.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to project teams, project governance, and senior management, influencing decision-making and strategic direction.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of finance experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong preference for R&D finance background.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 5 years in a management role, leading successful teams.
- Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic financial planning.
- Strong eye for business with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
