International Medical Director in Haematology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our clinical development efforts in Haematology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing clinical trials, providing medical oversight, and interpreting and documenting trial results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Haematology, with experience in clinical drug development and a proven track record of success in leading clinical trials. You will be responsible for mentoring and training junior colleagues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
This is a highly autonomous role, with a high degree of independence and business impact. You will be expected to travel approximately 15-20 days per year, and will be based in Søborg, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement clinical trials, providing medical oversight and interpreting and documenting trial results.
- Lead the development of clinical development strategies and programs, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, treating physicians, and therapeutic experts worldwide.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Medical Doctor degree, preferably with a PhD.
- At least 3 years of clinical drug development experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
