We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our clinical development efforts in Haemoglobinopathies. As a key member of our Medical & Science team, you will be responsible for designing and executing clinical trials, providing medical oversight, and interpreting results. Your expertise in haematology and clinical drug development will be instrumental in driving our clinical development strategy forward.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Provide medical oversight and guidance to trial teams, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
- Interpret trial results, identifying key findings and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical development strategies.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Medical Doctor degree, preferably with a PhD in haematology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in clinical drug development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
