About the Role

The role of the Global Director for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) entails developing and influencing strategies, plans, and tactics within the HEOR domain. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the development of health economic models, economic evaluations, budget impact studies, quality-of-life studies, and indirect treatment comparisons (ITC).
  2. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders such as research and development, medical, biostats, commercial, and more.
  3. Working closely with the market access and pricing team to align on priorities and strategies.
  4. Developing materials and collaborating to support regions and countries by creating the global reimbursement dossier and ensuring affiliates have access to HEOR data and resources.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal person will bring the following as minimum requirements:

  1. A master's degree in health economics, outcomes research, or similar.
  2. Experience of at least 5 years in health economics and outcomes research within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  3. A good understanding of indirect therapeutic comparison (ITC) methods and analysis.
  4. Proven experience in building and managing complex matrices in a professional setting.
  5. Fluency in written and verbal English.
About the Department

The Rare Blood Disorders Market Access and Pricing team comprises a dedicated team of professionals working to support best global access of our assets that help people with haemophilia, sickle cell disease (SCD), and Thalassemia.

This requires cross-function collaboration, innovation, and working closely with senior leadership.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
