At Wolt, we are seeking a skilled Financial & Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for driving financial and commercial excellence.

About the Role:

  • This position involves managing end-to-end vendor payments processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and identifying potential business risks.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including technology teams, to continuously improve procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and automate vendor invoice and payment processes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to establish joint goals and improve cost structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Wolt Market to vendors on invoicing and payment topics, ensuring compliance with Wolt guidelines and timely resolution of financial issues.
  • Work closely with the central accounts payable and inventory receivable team to optimize payment SLAs and streamline vendor communication and relationship management.
  • Conduct regular reviews of 3-way matching processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to resolve financial and invoicing issues promptly.

Commercial Tasks:

  • Define Wolt Market's product assortment for each store and collaborate with vendors and supply chain teams to drive projects and trading strategies.
  • Leverage strong negotiation skills to establish joint goals, improve cost structures, and sustainably grow the P&L.
  • Oversee vendor payments, including Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GRIR) processes, to ensure accurate financial reporting and prompt supplier payments.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
  • Proven experience in financial operations, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Bonus Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Please note that this is an estimated salary range and may vary based on individual circumstances.
