Political Science Researcher for Democratic Advertising Project

We are seeking a highly skilled Political Science Researcher to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. The successful candidate will contribute to our groundbreaking research project, 'Advertising Democracy,' which aims to explore the impact of democratic advertisements on citizens' commitment.
About the Project
The Advertising Democracy project is an innovative research endeavor that seeks to redefine how we approach pro-democratic interventions in the modern information environment. Our goal is to create effective democratic advertisements that strengthen citizens' democratic values and promote behavioral change.
Your Role
As a Political Science Researcher, you will be part of a dynamic research team led by Associate Professor Suthan Krishnarajan. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting systematic reviews of existing research on democratic values, political advertising, and persuasion.
- Designing, conducting, and analyzing survey experiments and field experiments to test the effectiveness of democratic advertisements.
- Collaborating with the research team to develop and refine our intervention strategies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A PhD in Political Science or a related field.
- Expertise in quantitative methodological skills, including data analysis and experimental design.
- Familiarity with media campaigns, advertising, and communication theories.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
