In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our compliance efforts and provide legal assistance, empowering Veo Technologies to navigate the complexities of AI and data protection laws.

Veo Technologies is pioneering AI-based sports camera technology, revolutionizing the way teams analyze games and training sessions. Our innovative solution has granted over 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries the ability to record their matches without a camera operator.

As a member of the finance team, you will report directly to the Head of Legal. Your exceptional skills and experience will be instrumental in establishing and enforcing our compliance framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Sanctions and Export Control Regimes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulations governing market expansion.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Work closely with other departments to develop and implement effective risk assessment processes and mitigating strategies.
  • Insurance Program Oversight: Manage our comprehensive insurance program to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.
  • Policies and Guidelines: Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Project Leadership: Drive and manage various compliance projects, delivering tangible results through efficient project management.
  • Training and Support: Design and deliver engaging training programs for colleagues on critical compliance topics.
  • Legal Expertise: Provide high-level legal guidance to departments, focusing on AI and GDPR-related matters.

Your Background:

  • A graduate with a master's degree in law or business law from one of the Nordic countries.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a compliance role, with expertise in areas such as sanctions, compliance, risk management, and GDPR considered beneficial.
  • Established experience leading projects effectively within legal compliance.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience collaborating with colleagues across departments to address the company's strategy and risk profile.
  • A collaborative individual skilled in navigating diverse responsibilities and challenges.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication.
