The role of an IT Infrastructure Engineer is critical in supporting our organization's operations. As a skilled professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT systems.
Your primary tasks will involve managing and supporting IT infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki devices. You will administer and maintain Windows Servers in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint and Teams.
You will provide Tier 2 support for IT-related issues, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Additionally, you will implement and maintain security protocols and procedures.
Collaboration with other IT team members is essential in supporting the implementation of IT solutions. Documenting IT processes and procedures is also a crucial aspect of this role.
To be successful in this position, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki, Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint, and Teams is necessary. Experience with IT support for Tier 1 and 2 issues, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are also required.
A strong communication and interpersonal skillset, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are essential.
In addition to these qualifications, having certified Azure certifications or ITIL certification is advantageous. Skills in PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages, as well as experience with Microsoft solutions such as Intune, Defender, etc., are desirable.
Skillful time management in a dynamic environment, a results-oriented mindset, and excellent problem-solving abilities are valuable assets in this role.
