Job Summary

This is a critical role within our Health, Safety, and Environment function, overseeing a team of HSE professionals. The primary responsibilities involve supporting the HSE needs of our Customer Project Execution (Construction) business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Promoting a safety culture using human performance principles and operational learning.
  • Ensuring compliance with regional and local HSE regulations.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting a geographically dispersed HSE team.
  • Tracking and analyzing hazards and incidents to promote continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of HSE strategies, including environmental initiatives.
  • Managing ISO standard certifications, audits, and HSE-related training programs.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associates degree with a minimum of five to eight years' work experience in General Industry, Industrial, or Construction environmental, health, and safety preferred.
  • Certification (CSP/ASP/CRSP/GSP) preferred.
  • Experience in applying international HSE standards (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001) across business units and geographies.
  • Experience with cranes, lifting and rigging, working at heights, safety management systems, control of hazardous energy, confined space requirements, work at heights, and soft tissue injury prevention.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and basic skills in SAP.
  • Fluent in English.
