About the Role
Vestas, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, seeks an experienced professional to join our Global Quality Assurance and Control (QAQC) team as a Lead Specialist. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our quality processes meet the highest industry standards.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Acting as a Global Subject Matter Expert for Measurement & Calibration, collaborating closely with various teams across the value chain.
- Refining, deploying, and continuously improving Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Calibration procedures.
- Collaborating with local representatives to ensure Function and local specific requirements are considered in the process/procedures.
- Overseeing all measurement activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Collaborating with Management on the calibration program, including scheduling, documentation, and traceability.
- Maintaining high standards of measurement accuracy through collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and 5+ years of proven experience in measurement and calibration.
- ISO 9001 certification with a strong understanding of its principles.
- Six Sigma certification/Project Management certification is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, with English being the baseline language.
