About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to lead and evolve our design system efforts at e-conomic. As a key member of our UX team, you will be responsible for shaping the user experience of our product, which impacts thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across Denmark.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design system efforts, ensuring consistency and scalability across different products and platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to align expectations and ensure customer voices are embedded in decision-making.
  • Own the design system documentation and guidelines, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to all teams.
  • Drive the adoption of the design system across the organization, providing guidance and support to other designers and developers.
  • Apply UX design principles to gain meaningful insights through qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Test and validate ideas, hypotheses, and prototypes with customers.
About You
  • You have a deep understanding of atomic design principles and can break down complex UI elements into reusable components.
  • You are meticulous about maintaining design consistency and can effectively communicate its importance across different teams.
  • You are a curious soul who finds it interesting to know why people use a product, seeking to get under the skin of customers' complexity and turn it into a solution that meets their needs.
  • You have experience working as a UX designer on a design system with a strong track record of end-to-end design processes.
  • You are self-motivated and responsible, capable of independently solving problems with your product trio and making decisions while receiving guidance from your team lead.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience and a proven track record of your previous work.
  • Experience in maintaining and scaling a design system within a growing organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral) and Danish (oral).
  • Experience designing enterprise/B2B/SaaS products.
  • Proficient in UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Practical experience with different ideation and research methodologies.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to facilitate, structure, and drive workshops.
  • Strong communication skills, able to visualize ideas and processes to ensure clear understanding.
  • A creative mindset and a can-do attitude, not afraid to take risks, experiment, and explore new ideas.
